we are in production for a second series of the popular tv show underbelly

we are shooting the first two episodes in western sydney in late october

these episodes are set in the mid seventies and i am in charge of sourcing vehicles for this

we will be needing a lot of vehicles to help establish the time frame and this will include

- a couple of prime movers
- a couple of two or three ton pantec or flat bed trucks
- vans
- cars
- motorcycles

all of these vehicles would need to be manufactured prior to 1977
they would be preferably manufactured after 1960
we would be hiring the vehicles on a day to day basis
it would be good if the vehicles could come with the owners to whom we would provide breakfast and lunch

we are looking at trying to offset fuel costs for any vehicles that have to travel more than 30 km's

if you know of anybody with a vehicle that falls within these guidelines who is in the sydney/ western sydney area

Already rang Bill.

They are looking for "family type" cars or grandpa cars as he called them.

I told him about mine & he said that he wanted a photo for upcoming films which they may use it in.

Hi Brett - yeah it was me that finally got all the remaining trophies sent out. I was a bit apprehensive that they might not make it in one piece but it sounds like they did! Phew!

I'll be keeping an eye out for your car in Underbelly II...

BTW: Anyone watch "Out Of The Blue" on channel 10 last night? There was a 4 door HQ GTS that I know I've seen somewhere - it *might* belong to one of the club members but I dunno?!? Number plate was "QIC 308" It looked like they stacked it (I sincerely hope it was trick photography!)

I submitted a photo of my car & although they were not interested in it for UBII - they have informed me that there is another crime series being developed & that it maybe used in it.

Yes you're right on all counts! they used tofu and mashed bananas mixed with fake blood to look like brains and guts, thats the result after two machine guns were used at close range
