There is The Bronzing studio at castle hill which is apparently very good ...but expensive and also I think theres a place at Granville also.

People,
What ever you do DO NOT use the people at Ingleburn " All Metal Bumpers ". I believe the guy at Riverstone is good for polishing etc, chroming im not sure, i do know he has a very reputable name especially with Chevie boys. He is on Schofields road i think it is. I use a guy at Liverpool called " Ultimate shine " for all my polishing and you've all seen my hubcaps! As far as chroming goes a lot of companies end up sending their stuff to either " Blue chrome " in Condell Park or down to Melbourne which is where some of us boys get our bumpers and stuff from, AA Vinneys. They also happen to support our ' Monaro movement! '

Thanks for the heads up i was about to take them to ingleburn one of my friends has had his done there they did come up good but they are very pricy.. i will have to go check out this BLUE CHROME place as i have also heard that most places send the pieces to them to get it done and just add on extra for themselves.

Just a small note: The window surrounds on your HQ are stainless steel. They only need to be de-dented/de-scratched, and then polished.
You *can* do it yourself if you're careful and patient. Buffs for a bench grinder are available from Bunnings, as is the (green) polishing compound. It is time consuming though...which is why it's expensive to get it done, too.

A couple of years ago i got a set of police chasers done for my ute, a bloke at Girraween. Couldnt remember the name of the joint so went for a drive ( its only up the road from me) Its called Cruzin Chrome, BUT, the owner was actually there, and he told me he's shutting up shop as he had a stroke. He recommended Morton and May at Warwick Farm (got some done there too, 100 years ago), or Neils Wheels at Chullora. (they must be good whith a name like that)
When i got mine done they cost approx $125 each and took about 3 weeks, but they can take up to 6 weeks. Cheers,NEIL

G'day all,
Here is a place that offers a repair service for all sorts of metal
auto mouldings and trims, their shop looks very impressive,
it's clean as a whistle inside which is very unusual for a metal
polishers..each customers trims go on their own padded tray
labelled with their name on it.
When I was there he had a number of Monaro, GT Falcon
etc trims being done like gutter moulds, bonnet edge, eybrow etc.
They quoted me just a bit over $115 per trim GST incl for cleaning
repair and polish for the ones I gave them, some only had a few
stone marks, some were fairly well battered
Not got them back yet ....... will let you know how they went

Thats nice and handy...just down the road

The guy at Riverstone i think is Mr Allan McCoy, working from home and this must be his workshop at Kingswood i imagine. He is a brother in law or something to Mr John McCoy Lancaster who is President of the either the NSW or Australian Chevrolet Club and as i've said very well respected.

well i ended up takeing mine to ultimate shine in liverpool they are as dear as poision about 115 per piece as well and out of 14 pieces only 2 needed minor repairs 3 after i tried to do them myself and ended up bending one, i opted for show finish which he recons at shows judges can put a magnifine glass on them and wont see a single scratch... so i should have them back hopefully in 3 weeks and my respray should be finished by then too..
