i have been wondering what is the biggest tyre i can fit to the rear of my HJ sedan, stock gaurds and diff


and i you could say what size you run would be great

I think you can Run up to 8" rims with no trouble, may even 9" depending on the offset of your wheels and whether you roll the Guard Lip in..

With My HJ i run the Standard 6" GTS Wheels and 215/65/14" tyres.

On my HQ i run 8 inch 245/50/14 it does just scrap a little when there is some people in the back.

I've just fitted a set of 235/60/14 on the honeycomb (7") rims of my LE. No dramas.

I found that there doesn't seem to be a lot of choice in tyre sizes any more? I suppose there's not much demand for wide 14" tyres.
