Hoping someone can respond to this query. It may have been raised previously therefore i apologise for any duplicated responses.

Question:
Does the firewall stamped number act as the chassis number of the car, and do they have to match with the VIN tags?

On a HT, 1969 cars Don't have a ADR Plate but 1970 HTs Do..

The Number on the Firewall is the Chassis Number and on 1970 HTs this should
match the Chassis number on the ADR Plate.

As for the VIN & Body Plate, the Chassis Number is not listed on those 2 Plates
