I thoroughly enjoyed the day. Some pretty good racing and 'warm' laps around the circuit to start off. Left a little early though to get home and watch the end of Sandown.

Shoulda been there mate, it was only Fathers Day after all. Do you want change from that 5c?

Was a great day, 4-5 Parade Laps.. Got up to nearly 150ks,
Looking at and hearing the Old Group "Cs" was great
Right at the end we had 10mins of rain but most people had gone by then
Also we could watch Sandown if we wanted.. Up stairs in the Food area there
was about 4-5 Tele screens and at the same time you could watch the cars
racing at eastern creek... see ya next year

Must say it was probably the best Father's Day I've had (only been a Dad for 3 years though). Lucky on the weather & the parade laps... what can I say... you can't beat a high speed straight, tight bends, 8 bellowing cylinders & cool Monaro lines now can you...?

Will go through the multitude of photo's I took & post a couple (surely TW will have a few good'ns).

Doubt I'll be missing this one next year...!

Yes Dicko it was a great day - the weather was ten times better than 05 & how about the crowds? it seemed to me that our club had the biggest amount of onlookers at times with many spectators asking a heap of questions about our Monaros. I especially enjoyed the "Parade Laps" how good was it to open up along the straight & then hold it into turn one? absolute priceless! I felt sorry for those who did theirs laps AFTER the FPV club as they only got 2 because a few idiots from the FPV's decided to ignore the race control & everyone else got penalised - typical F--d morons. Anyway I look forward to the DVD coming out & also to the 07 event which my baby & I will be attending.

On the subject of the crowd... I printed some Club Applications before I left & bought them with me. Think I handed out 2 or 3 & passed on 4 or 5 cards also. Hopefully we'll get a few new members out of it.

Totally agree that the club generated more interest than most (other then the FPV with the tellie playing Sandown in the boot). I think mostly because our members are accessible, helpful & will talk for hours on any model, any colour, the weather, politics... (well... I may be pushing it on politics I suppose, but you get my drift)...
You got a question that I don't know the answer to...? Wait there & I'll get someone for ya...!

The only thing I ain't happy about was getting a F**d ute in my goody bag ... Had to go & buy a "real car" (this may have been their logic though... D'oh).
