Hi to all,
Nostalgia drags is on the 15th April this year.
Nostalgia drags is for pre '72' Aussie muscle cars and hot rods.
Not only is the event racing but it also has a show & shine.
Show & shine is turn up with your car for show in the pit area for the same cost as entry.
For those who wish to race, I suggest you get your entry form in as soon as possible, it is only open to 200 cars for racing, Show & Shine is until the allocated area is full.
Last year there would have been over 300 cars on show.

Yes the 186S has been entered, it is a dial your own event, so anyone can win it.
Below is a link you can get your entry form and details on the event.
I hope to see someone out there supporting our Monaro's

So I'm guessing no-one out there is going to go to the Nostalgia drags this year mad.gif

For some reason, this is the first time I have seen this thread and I am in an absolute state of confusion as to why???? (polite way of saying what I would normally say rolleyes.gif )

Must admit, haven't been to one before and I am still nostalgic over pre-2004. biggrin.gif

Looks like a good night though.

Hey guys,

The show n shine is open to all, even your car Pete. Just turn up on day. For those racing (pre 72) get your forms in before April 4th.
Gates open 6am, racing starts 9am.
Adults $25 pp in car, children 16 under free.

Been advised that if we go as a club to show n shine, to go in together so we can be grouped together.

Unfortunately it clashes with the Club Run I think... & there's BIMF a week prior... decisions, decisions...

I do believe that Mr. Dicko is correct in saying that it is a club run day.

HT69RR- 03-28-2007
It does clash with the club run on the same day.
Not to cause a stir but for those who wish to not travel to Maitland but still want to get the beast out, this is a good day for it.
I'm going cause I missed out last year, I don't mind getting her on the track and this is a good one for the old cars.

Cheers to all

I'll be going to the nostalgias... My mate will have his FED racing there and he's hopped her up so should run a SERIOUS number ( 6s at >200MPH) and hopeuflly pick up the front wheels.

I'm going to be video taping it for him too!

Cheers!

For the show n shine people, it's just turn up on the day, no form needed. Gates open 6am and pay the same as public adult $25. kids 16 and under free.

I know once I lose that 100% it'll be gone for good, but I had my turn..... it's someone's elses this year. Just don't have the energy to keep doing everything unsure.gif
